The export of your properties to Shopify only works reliably if the configuration in Shopify exactly matches the officially supported specifications.

Supported configuration in Shopify

For your metafields to be exported correctly from PlentyONE, you must use the following configuration in Shopify:

• Type: Single

• Format: Single-line text

Notes on unsupported formats

Please note that other settings (such as the type List) are not officially supported. Although such configurations may work in individual cases, this can lead to a missing transfer. We cannot guarantee functionality for configurations that deviate from the standard.

Update timestamps for marketplace exports

Once an input field mapping for metafields was created in the wizard, or a property was created or modified, any changes to the relevant items must be saved so that the metafields are transferred during the next export.

The easiest way to do this is to use the variation group function: Update timestamps for marketplace exports.
 

Product changes are imported once an hour. Once this import has taken place, the metafield will be visible in Shopify.
