Stop unwanted relisting

Problem: You accidentally ended relisted offers, but they were immediately relisted again.

Cause: The inventory automation restarted the offer due to available stock.

Solution:

1. Deactivate the inventory automation in the menu: Setup » Markets » eBay » Settings » Tab: Basic Settings.

Offer not relisted after long inactivity

Problem: Your GTC offer was inactive for three months due to lack of stock. After new stock is added, it is not relisted.

Cause: eBay allows automatic relisting of listings for a maximum of 90 days.

Solution:

1. Relist the item manually once on eBay.

2. Afterwards, the item will be picked up again by the inventory reconciliation and the automation will take over the updates.

Inventory automation for variant items without linkage

Problem: You list a variant item without linking a specific size/color, and customers only choose the size at checkout. Can the inventory automation be used?

Answer: No, the inventory automation cannot be used with these offers.

Recommendation: Use the eBay offer format Listings with variants. This format is supported and kept up to date by the inventory automation.
