Error message: OAuth2 account not linked

Solution:

You need to link your eBay account for OAuth2 authentication. OAuth2 is the new, necessary authentication method for more and more essential processes (calls) via the eBay APIs.

1. Authenticate your eBay account in the menu Setup » Markets » eBay » Account Settings for OAuth2.

Error message: Sales limit exceeded / New seller without saved credit card details

Error message: Your weekly sales limit has been exceeded or #10117: New seller without saved credit card details.

These messages often appear for new eBay users who have not yet fully activated their seller status.

Solution:

1. Change your account type on eBay: Open eBay homepage » My eBay » My Member Account » Personal Information and change the account type.

2. Complete the initial steps for listing an item on eBay:

   • Open the Sell section on eBay.

   • Complete the first two steps for listing an item (to have your information checked in the background).

   • Cancel the process at this point.

You are now registered as a seller and can list your items via PlentyONE.
