The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) of the European Union requires you to provide information on product safety, including details about the manufacturer and the responsible person in the EU. This information is now automatically transferred to eBay via PlentyONE. You do not need to manually assign any fields.

Requirements for Data Transfer

For the data to be automatically transferred to eBay, the following requirements must be met:

• The manufacturer must be selected at the item level.
• The fields for the EU responsible person and the manufacturer must be completed under Settings » Items » Manufacturer.

Data Transfer Priority

The values for manufacturer and EU responsible person information are used in the following order (priority):

1. If a custom property exists, the name from this property is used.
2. If no property exists, the name of the external manufacturer from the Settings » Items » Manufacturer menu is used.
3. If no name is stored in the external manufacturer field, the name of the manufacturer from the Settings » Items » Manufacturer menu is used.

Properties for Manufacturer Information

You can transfer information about manufacturers and EU responsible persons to eBay as custom properties. These properties must be of the text type and enabled for eBay.
