For certain product categories (such as electrical appliances and furniture), you can specify a recycling fee (Eco-Participation Fee) on eBay. This fee is already included in the sale price but is listed separately and displayed on the item page below the sale price.

Important: If you sell items on eBay in France, you are legally required to specify a recycling fee for the categories electrical appliances and furniture. The amount of the fee is provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the item.

In PlentyONE, the recycling fee is specified with a property called EcoParticipationFee.

Create EcoParticipationFee property

1. Open the menu Setup » Settings » Properties » Configuration.
2. Click on ($\text{Add}$) Create Property.
3. Make the following settings:

Note: The property must have exactly the same name as on eBay, otherwise it cannot be transferred correctly.

4. Make the additional settings in the areas Groups, Visibilities, and Options as desired.
5. Save ($\text{Save}$) the settings.
   • The property is now created.

Link property to variant

Then link the created property to the desired variant:

1. Open the menu Items » Edit Item » [Open Item].
2. Switch to the Tab: Variants.
3. Open the variant you want to link.
4. Switch to the Tab: Properties.
5. In the Variant Properties area, select the property EcoParticipationFee from the Properties dropdown list and click Add ($\text{Add}$).
6. Enter the amount of the recycling fee in the Value dropdown list.
7. Save the settings.

Display recycling fee on active listings

Use the group function in the menu Sales Channels » Active Listings to display newly created recycling fees on your listings. To do this, select the option Quantity, Price and Variants or Refresh Variants under Update eBay Options and execute the group function.
