For items from certain product categories, you must provide a Unique Manufacturer Identification Number (UPIN or SYDEREP number).

Important: If you sell items with eBay in France, you are legally required to provide UPINs for items from certain categories. You receive the UPIN from the manufacturer or supplier of the item.

In PlentyONE, you provide UPINs using properties. These properties must be named exactly as on eBay to be transferred correctly.

Create properties for UPIN

The following properties must be created to specify UPINs:

• ProducerProductID (Manufacturer product ID)
• ProductPackageID (Product package ID)
• ShipmentPackageID (Shipping package ID)
• ProductDocumentationID (Product documentation ID)

1. Open the menu Setup » Settings » Properties » Configuration.
2. Click on ($\text{Add}$) Create property.
3. Make the following settings:

Note: The property must be named exactly as on eBay, otherwise it cannot be transferred correctly.

4. Make further settings in the areas of Groups, Visibilities and Options as desired.
5. Save ($\text{Save}$) the settings.
   • Repeat this process for all required UPIN properties.

Link property with variant

Then link the created property with the desired variant:

1. Open the menu Items » Edit item » [Open item].
2. Switch to the Tab: Variants.
3. Open the variant you want to link.
4. Switch to the Tab: Texts.
5. Select the desired property from the dropdown list Properties and click on Add ($\text{Add}$).
6. Enter the UPIN in the dropdown list Value.
7. Save ($\text{Save}$) the settings.

Add UPINs to active listings

Use the group function in the menu Sales Channels » Active Listings to display newly created UPINs in active listings. To do this, select one of the options Quantity, Price and Variants, Renew Variants or Product Details under Update eBay options and execute the group function.
