Stock updates continue to be made every 15 minutes using the previous method, but are additionally automatically transmitted with each export of the offer catalogue.
Required settings for stock updates with catalogue
To transmit stock, you must keep the previous settings and perform additional steps for transmission via the offer catalogue:
1. Retain the previous settings
- Navigate in your system to:
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Settings » [Open account] » Tab: Item settings. - Select for
Stock changesthe optionEvery 15 minutesorHourly. - The existing settings for stock reconciliation remain necessary.
2. Additional settings for transmission via the offer catalogue
- The offer catalogue must be created and activated.
- Navigate to:
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Settings » [Open account] » Tab: Item settings. - Select for
Price changesthe optionEvery 15 minutesorHourly.Note: This setting is necessary so that the offer catalogue is also exported when there are price changes on a variant and the current stock is additionally transmitted.
Alternative to stock updates without catalogue
Stock updates via the previous method (without catalogue) are still possible indefinitely.
- The update is done via the previous method.
- For this, under
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Settings » [Open account] » Tab: Item settingsforStock changesthe optionEvery 15 minutesorHourlymust be selected. - The existing settings for stock reconciliation remain necessary.
Important: This solution only updates stock for existing SKUs.
Note: Stock update is the only exception: it is also possible without catalogues and specifically for existing offers.
