DHL Return Online – Register new License Plate number in Otto Markets
DHL occasionally changes the number range for returns. To ensure your returns continue to run smoothly via Otto Markets, you need to register the new License Plate number in your Otto portal.
Step 1: Retrieve new License Plate number from DHL
- Log in to your DHL Business Customer Portal.
- Navigate to “Return” > “Return Settings”.
- There you will find your current License Plate number.
➤ Important: Copy only the numbers, without the prefix “XXXXC”.
Step 2: Enter number in Otto Markets
- Log in to your Otto Markets Portal.
- Go to the settings and enter the copied number under “License Plate” or “Customer Identification”.
- Don’t forget to save!
Step 3: Trigger shipping notification
Finally, you should trigger a shipping notification to Otto for any orders that may be stuck.
Depending on the case, you can do this, for example, via a status change, return and rebooking, or goods issue.
