If a different stock level is transferred to OTTO Market than is available in your selected warehouse, this is often due to the name of the property for the OTTO category group. If it is not named exactly OTTO Kategoriegruppe, the warehouse selection from the catalogue is not applied and the export uses the general stock level.
How to recognise the problem
- The stock level at OTTO Market differs from the stock level in PlentyONE, for example
0in PlentyONE and7at OTTO. - The warehouse selection is correctly configured in the catalogue, for example only one warehouse is selected.
- The log (
Katalog Lagerauswahl) does not show any warehouse selection, and the transferred stock level corresponds to the total stock. - Overselling occurs and orders have to be cancelled.
Cause
The export searches for the property under the exact name OTTO Kategoriegruppe. The property is added when the catalogue is created using the assistant. If it has a different name, for example Kategoriegruppe (OTTO), it cannot be resolved. The warehouse selection from the catalogue is then not taken into account.
How to resolve the problem
- Open the properties in your system and search for the property for the OTTO category group.
- Check the name. It must be exactly
OTTO Kategoriegruppe. - Rename the property if the name differs, for example
Kategoriegruppe (OTTO). - After the next stock transfer, check whether the stock levels at OTTO Market match those of your selected warehouse.
Only OTTO catalogues are affected by this problem, as the property is created exclusively for OTTO via the assistant.
