This means that the »Device type according to ElektroG« and the »WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE« must be maintained on your variants.
Due to this inspection obligation, all items that do not comply with these requirements will be taken offline by OTTO market from 01.07. onwards!

In the catalogue, there are the fields »Device type according to ElektroG« and »WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE«, which you must link in the catalogue and to the corresponding variant.

Example WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE (Own value):

You can use an "Own value" in the catalogue if all items in the catalogue have the same WEEE-Reg.-Nr. DE. In this case, you do not need to link anything to the variant.

If this is not the case, please create a new attribute and link it to the corresponding variant.

If your items are exempt from the inspection obligation because, for example, they are included in a catalogue with electrical goods but themselves do not have, for example, batteries, please enter an attribute with the value "Product does not fall under the ElektroG."

We recommend using an attribute here; the "Own value" should only be used if ALL items in a catalogue fall under this "Device type according to ElektroG".
