If you are currently still using the Shopify plugin, as an existing customer you can switch to the new PlentyONE app for Shopify. A migration assistant will support you in securely transferring your existing connections.

Preparing the migration

You start the assistant in your PlentyONE system under: Setup » Markets » Shopify App » Migration assistant.

Important: If you use multiple Shopify connections, you must perform the following steps separately for each connection.

Step-by-step process

1. Install PlentyONE app: First, install the PlentyONE app in your Shopify backend. Have your plentyID, your username and your password ready.

2. Check plugin version: Make sure your current Shopify plugin is up to date.

3. Migrate connection: Start the actual transfer of the Shopify connection via the migration assistant.

4. Migrate event procedures: Transfer your existing event procedures into the new app structure.

   • Note: The procedure varies depending on whether you migrate all connections simultaneously or one after the other. Therefore, read the instructions in the assistant carefully.

5. Check settings: After the import, check the migrated account settings for accuracy.

6. Remove plugin: Only uninstall the old Shopify plugin from your PlentyONE system once all connections have been successfully migrated.
