To comply with the legal requirements of the German Funkanlagengesetz (FuAG), you must give customers the option to purchase certain electrical devices without a power supply. In PlentyONE, you solve this by using a property that serves as a link to an alternative offer.

Create a link to the alternative offer

First, create the property that contains the reference to the offer without a power supply.

1. Create a property of type Text or HTML.

2. Link this property to the affected variations.

3. Enter the URL of the offer without a power supply in the Text field.

4. Save your changes.

Note: In Shopify, the URL is currently only displayed as plain text and is not directly clickable.

Assign property via input field mapping

Now assign the link via the corresponding assistant.

1. Navigate to Setup » Assistants » Omni-Channel.

2. Open the assistant for Input Field Mapping.

3. Select the option Metafield under Linkable Shopify input fields.

4. Select the option Property under Linkable PlentyONE fields.

5. Select the property you created earlier that contains the link.

6. Click Complete.
