You can upload the legally required pictograms and labels for marking charging interfaces directly as product images into your PlentyONE system. This is mandatory for affected electrical appliances from 28/12/2024 (laptops from 28/04/2026) to indicate whether a power supply unit is included and which charging characteristics are required.

Set the pictogram for the scope of delivery

The pictogram indicates whether a power supply unit is included (charging plug not crossed out) or not (charging plug crossed out).

1. Navigate in your PlentyONE system to Item » Items.

2. Open the desired item.

3. Go to the Images section.

4. Upload the corresponding pictogram (according to EU Directive 2022/2380) via drag-and-drop or using the Select images button.

5. Ensure that the image is linked to the correct client and that the referrer Shopify is activated.

Set the label for charging characteristics

Additionally, you must store a label that describes the required charging characteristics for compatible power supplies.

1. Navigate to Item » Items and open the affected product.

2. Go to the Images section.

3. Upload the label (according to EU Directive 2022/2380, Appendix I Part 4).

4. Also ensure the correct linking with the client and the referrer Shopify.
