The European regulation on extended producer responsibility (EPR) obliges retailers to take responsibility for the return and disposal of certain products. From 1 January 2022, you are legally required to offer customers the free collection of an equivalent old electrical appliance when delivering a new electrical device.
You set the conditions for the free return of old appliances in the return conditions according to ElektroG.
Important: If you sell items with eBay in France, you are obliged to set return conditions according to
ElektroGfor this country platform.
Set return conditions according to ElektroG
You can set the conditions in PlentyONE, which will override the conditions saved on eBay. You can set a maximum of three return conditions according to the ElektroG law.
- Open the menu Setup » Markets » eBay » Framework Conditions » Tab: Return Conditions according to ElektroG » Tab: New.
- Make the following settings:

| Profile Name | Enter an internal name that is not visible in the listing. |
| Description | Enter a description text that will be displayed on eBay under return conditions. It must state that a free return of old appliances is possible. |
| Designation | Enter a designation for the return conditions. The designation is visible in your eBay listing. |
- Save the settings.
You can set return conditions according to ElektroG for eBay country platforms including Germany, France, Australia, Canada, and USA.
