After each product export carried out via the adapter, Amazon creates a CSV file containing all the errors that occurred. Using these error reports, you can adjust and correct your products.
Location of the error report
You can find the generated CSV file in PlentyONE in the menu for data export:
- Navigate to:
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data export. - The file is located in the section Processing results from product export via the adapter.
Interpretation of the report
The error report helps you identify the causes of failed exports.
- Content of the error: The file contains errors related to individual SKUs or missing attributes.
- Example: A common error is that an attribute such as
Bullet Point is requiredis missing.
Correction of missing information
If information is missing from the product (such as bullet points), you need to perform the following steps:
- Create a property for the missing information.
- Link this property to Amazon.
No file or empty file
If no file was generated after the export or the file is empty, this means that no errors occurred during the export process.
