You can run an Amazon catalogue export directly in the catalogue settings in test mode before activating it finally. Please note that the test mode only includes a technical validation by Amazon and does not include a content review.
Prerequisites
Before you can start the test, the following conditions must be met:
- In the menu
Items » Items » [Open item] » Section: Amazon, the currentproduct typeis linked for the variant. - For product catalogues:
- You have added the
Amazon product typesunderSetup » Markets » Amazon » Add catalogue templatesfor which you want to create product catalogues. - You have created a
product cataloguefor the corresponding product type. - You have linked the
data fields in the product catalogue.

- For offer catalogues:
- You have created an
offer catalogue. - You have linked the
data fields in the offer catalogue.
- You have created an
Start catalogue export in test mode
- Open the menu
Data » Catalogues. - Open the Amazon catalogue you want to test.
- Switch to the
Settingstab on the left side. - In the
Amazon settingssection, activate thetest modeoption. - Save the settings.
- Open the menu
Data » Cataloguesagain. → A list of catalogues will be displayed. - Scroll to the Amazon catalogue.
- Slide the toggle switch to the right in the
Activecolumn.
The catalogue will now be activated and a test export will be sent to Amazon within 15 minutes. All changes since the last transmission will be sent.
Check the reports of the test export
After the test, reports are available. You can use these to check why a catalogue may not have been accepted by Amazon or if you need to link additional data fields.
You have two options to view and download the reports:
- In the menu
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data exportin the sectionReports on catalogue export. - In the menu
Data » Log.- Filter here by the integration
