For a variant from PlentyONE to be offered for sale in your Shopify store, two conditions must be met: the variant must be "Active" and the sales channel "Shopify" must be assigned to it.
Depending on whether you want to edit a single variant, a selected group, or a large quantity by filter, there is a suitable method for each.
Method 1: For a single variant
This method is ideal for quickly enabling a single variant or all variants of a main product.
- Open the desired variant in the menu Products > Products.
- In the section Availability and Visibility, check the box for Active.
- In the section Sales Channels, add the channel Shopify.
- Save the settings.
- Tip: If you make these settings on the main variant, they will be inherited by all subordinate variants, provided inheritance is active there.
Method 2: For multiple selected variants (group function)
This method is suitable if you have manually selected a list of variants that you want to edit together.
- Search for and select the desired variants in the product overview (Products > Products).
- Open the variant group function via the icon in the toolbar.
- Add the action Sales Channels and select Shopify.
- Add a second action Active and check the box for Active there.
- Click Execute to apply the changes to all selected variants.
Method 3: For many variants via filter (batch processing)
Batch processing is the best choice to edit a large number of variants that you define using filters (e.g. all products of a manufacturer) at once.
- Open the menu Products > Batch Processing and select the tab Variants.
- Use the filters on the left side to narrow down the variants to be edited.
- In the section Marketplace Availability, check both checkboxes for the option Shopify.
- In the section Availability, check both checkboxes for the option Active.
- Click Apply to save the settings for all filtered variants.
