To correctly display the base price in Shopify, you need to transfer the three components of the base price from PlentyONE separately to Shopify metafields. For this, you must run the "Input Field Mappings" assistant a total of three times.
Tip: You do not need to create the metafields in Shopify beforehand. PlentyONE will automatically create them for you during the next product export.
The three necessary mappings are:
- Base Price: The calculated price per unit (e.g. €1.33).
- Base Price: Content: The quantity of the product (e.g. 750).
- Base Price: Unit: The unit of measurement (e.g. ml).
Instructions (per run):
- Start the "Input Field Mappings" assistant via the menu Setup » Assistants » Omni-Channel.
- In the step "Create New Input Field Mapping", select the option Metafield.
- In the step "Metafield Configuration", enter a namespace (e.g.
yourshop.baseprice) and a unique name (e.g.price,contentorunit). - In the step "PlentyONE Source Input Field", select the corresponding data source:
- In the 1st run: Select Base Price.
- In the 2nd run: Select Base Price: Content.
- In the 3rd run: Select Base Price: Unit.
- Complete the assistant. Repeat this process until all three mappings are created.
