To automatically import Amazon credit notes, you must enable the automatic credit note import in the Amazon main settings. The Amazon invoicing service (VCS) is not required for this.

Requirements and how it works

• The import applies to all credit notes, i.e. FBA credit notes and MFN credit notes.
• The import only starts from the point at which it is enabled.
• If VCS (Lite) is active, the import runs “more smoothly”, meaning that fewer credit notes are missing. However, VCS is not essential.

Important: Do not activate VCS without preparation

Do not activate VCS just to import credit notes. Find out in detail beforehand about the effects and all the necessary preparations. Activating it without preparation can lead to significant problems in the system that may no longer be possible to resolve.

Importing past credit notes retrospectively

• You cannot retrieve missing credit notes yourself at a later date. This is also not possible via the Berichte area.
• Contact Support and specify the exact period during which the credit notes were created. Support can retrieve the interface for this period and attempt to import the credit notes.
