If error messages related to the footwear_size attribute occur when exporting shoes to Amazon and the field is missing in the preview, this is usually due to incomplete links in the catalogue. Amazon requires that certain mandatory fields in the footwear_size section must be transmitted together. If any part of these fields is missing, the entire footwear_size block is excluded from the export.

Link mandatory fields in the catalogue

To ensure that the shoe size information is correctly exported and displayed in the preview, all fields required by Amazon within the footwear_size section must be linked in your PlentyONE catalogue:

1. Navigate in your PlentyONE system to: Data » Catalogues.

2. Open the affected Amazon catalogue (e.g. for the product type SHOES).

3. Scroll to the mapping section footwear_size.

4. Link not only the primary shoe size (footwear_size.size) but also all other required subfields of this section (e.g. age group, gender, size system/size type, depending on what Amazon prescribes for the respective country). Note: The field size_to is only required for ranges and can be omitted if no from/to range is specified.

5. Save the catalogue.

Once all required structural fields of the footwear_size section have a value, the attribute will be fully generated and passed on in the preview as well as during export to Amazon.
