To verify your shop on Pinterest, there are different solutions depending on the method offered by Pinterest.

Option 1: Verification via HTML tag

This method will be possible once the Custom CSS/JS feature for the shop has been released. With this function, you will be able to add the necessary HTML tag in the shop in the future.

Option 2: Verification via HTML file

This verification method is not supported. It is not possible to manually upload files to the root directory of the shop.

Option 3: Verification via TXT record (DNS)

This method works and is the recommended way. The exact procedure depends on whether you use a domain hosted with us or an externally hosted domain.
