How do I manage the absence settings for my eBay shop?

You can use the absence settings for your eBay shop to inform your customers about your absence. During your absence, appropriate notices will be displayed in your eBay shop and on your listings.

Set absence settings

To configure the absence settings, proceed as follows:

Open the menu Setup » Markets » eBay » Settings » Tab: Account Settings.
Make the following settings:

Setting	Explanation
Enable	Select Yes to activate the absence settings. This setting takes effect immediately after saving. Your customers will see an absence notice on the homepage of your eBay shop. An automatically generated text by eBay will be shown on your listings.
	No is enabled by default. Select No if you want to deactivate the absence settings again.
Absence notice	Enter a text in the free text field that will be shown to your customers on the homepage of the eBay shop. You can use HTML formatting in this free text field to design your text.

Save the settings.
