In the menu Setup » Markets » eBay » Settings you configure basic settings for the marketplace eBay, such as linking shipping profiles, matching return reasons, and status links for purchase cancellations.
Set up basic settings
- Open the menu
Setup » Markets » eBay » Settings » Tab: Basic Settings. - Make the desired settings according to the following explanations.
- Save (
💾) the settings.
Important basic settings

| UPC from EAN field | Choose here whether the Universal Product Code (UPC) is taken from an EAN field (Use EAN 1 - 4). This setting is relevant if you select the option Transmit UPC in the listing. |

| Sort eBay variants based on the article variant position | Choose Yes or No. If No, sorting is based on the position of the attribute values set under Setup » Articles » Attributes » [Open Attribute] » Tab: Values. |

| Use image of the first variant as gallery image... | No is recommended because eBay recommends a gallery image that shows all variants of the article. If Yes, the image of the first variant is transmitted. |
| Add product details from the eBay catalogue | Yes: Product details from the eBay catalogue are automatically adopted. |
| Add product images from the eBay catalogue |

| Order position | Choose Adopt order position (e.g. 1 position with quantity 5) or one order position per item (e.g. 5 positions with quantity 1). |
| Set shipping and payment marking | Choose whether the shipping of an article is reported to eBay as soon as the goods issue has been booked. |
