You can create user roles (roles) and assign them specific permissions. Please note that only users with roles of the type Administrator can assign permissions.

Assigning permissions

1. Open the menu Setup » Account Management » Roles.
2. Click on New (add) to create a new role.
3. Give the role a name.
4. Switch to advanced mode using the Advanced (toggle_on) button.
5. Assign the desired permissions for the respective area by activating the checkboxes.
   • Note: You can either assign permissions for an entire area or expand the area to grant only limited permissions.
6. Save (💾) the settings.

Simple vs. Advanced Mode

The simple and advanced modes are linked, but only in one direction:

• If you activate permissions in the simple mode, the associated permissions in advanced mode are automatically activated.
• If you assign permissions only in the advanced mode, no permissions for menus or plugins in simple mode are activated.
