OTTO Market performs a character length check for certain fields. You must ensure that the following fields do not exceed the maximum allowed number of characters, otherwise the export may fail.

Important character limits

• Model name: maximum 70 characters
• Special features: maximum 70 characters
• Set info: maximum 70 characters
• Product description: maximum 2000 characters
• All URLs in the Media assets section: maximum 2083 characters

How do I check for errors due to character length?

The character length check is carried out by OTTO Market itself. If variant data is not published as expected, you will find an error message in the log messages:

1. Open the menu Data » Log.
2. Check the messages of the Market status with the integration Plenty\Modules\Otto\Item\Commands\MarketplaceStatusImportCommand.
