You must explicitly link every variant that is to be exported in an OTTO Market catalogue with the property OTTO category group. This property is automatically created in your PlentyONE system after you have run the wizard Create OTTO Market catalogues or manually created a marketplace format for OTTO Market.

Step-by-step guide to linking

Proceed as follows to link a variant with the appropriate category group:

1. Open the menu Items » Edit item » [Open item].
2. Switch to the Tab: Variants.
3. Open the variant you want to link.
4. Switch to the Tab: Properties.
5. In the Variant properties area, select the property OTTO category group from the dropdown list Properties.
6. Click on Add (+).
   • → The property is added to the variant.
7. For the property OTTO category group, select the desired category group from the dropdown list Value.
   • Note: The name of the marketplace format, not the name of the catalogue, is transmitted to OTTO Market.
   • → As soon as you select a value (e.g. Beds), the variant will be included in the catalogue for export under the corresponding OTTO category group (Beds).
8. Save (💾) the settings.
