The "My Otto" identification number (MOIN) is a unique product identifier from OTTO Market and a mandatory field. OTTO Market assigns a unique MOIN to each variant.

Automatic assignment in PlentyONE

• In the catalogue, the marketplace data field "My Otto" identification number is automatically assigned to the PlentyONE data field MOIN.

MOIN assignment process

Your variants automatically receive a MOIN via OTTO Market.

• Option 1 (product exists): If the product is already being sold on OTTO Market, your variant will be assigned an existing MOIN.
• Option 2 (product is new): If the product is not yet offered on OTTO Market, OTTO Market creates a new MOIN and assigns it to your variant.

Process of MOIN export and import

Regardless of whether the MOIN exists or is newly created, the process proceeds as follows:

1. The variant is exported to OTTO Market.
2. 15 minutes later, OTTO Market assigns a MOIN to the variant.
3. The MOIN is imported into your PlentyONE system and saved on the variant.
   • You can find the MOIN in the menu: Items » Edit item » [open item] » [open variant] » Tab: Settings » Section: ASIN/ePID/MOIN.
4. During the next export, the MOIN is exported with the other item data.

Note: If you export a variant for the first time, for which there are already offers from other sellers on OTTO Market, it can take up to two nights before your offer is online on OTTO Market.
