Each marketplace structures product data differently, so when assigning data fields for OTTO Market, you must observe certain special features and restrictions.

Text fields and length restrictions

The following text fields have certain maximum character limits when exporting:

• Model name: maximum 70 characters
• Special features: maximum 70 characters
• Set info: maximum 70 characters
• Product description: maximum 2000 characters

Brands, categories and attributes

• Brand (mandatory field): Certain brands must be approved by OTTO. Without this approval, the brands may not be sold on OTTO Market.
• Category group-related attributes: Current information on the attributes and permitted values can be found in the OTTO Market category list on the "Attribute list" tab.
• Category: Information on the categories can be found in the OTTO Market category list on the "Categories overview" tab.

Media assets (images and URLs)

• Image: It is recommended to assign the PlentyONE data field Image » item/catalogs/variation/image.image-image. This exports all images that are released for OTTO Market origin.
  • Minimum dimensions: The minimum dimensions for images on OTTO Market are 500 x 1000 pixels.
• Other media asset data fields (e.g. dimension drawings, user manuals): For all media asset data fields except images, only URLs to files can be exported. URLs in this area may contain a maximum of 2083 characters.
  • Recommended assignment: Use properties of the type string in which the URL is stored.
  • Important: Properties of the type file cannot be used. Each property may only contain one URL.

Other notes

• Length specifications: Length specifications must be given with a point for OTTO Market (e.g. 2.5 meters), otherwise the values will not be transferred correctly.
• Currency: The marketplace data fields for sales price currency, RRP currency and offer price currency are automatically filled with the value "EUR", as OTTO Market can only process the EURO currency.
• Shipping profile (mandatory field): Select an OTTO shipping profile from the dropdown list and assign a PlentyONE shipping profile. If you only have one shipping profile, you can alternatively assign a custom value (the ID of the shipping profile, e.g. ShippingProfile-123).
• Processing time (mandatory field): Select the processing time from the dropdown list. This is the time from order receipt to the product being ready for dispatch.
