A complex 1:1 mapping is necessary when there are different possible values for a sales channel data field (e.g. for categories, brands or shipping method). Instead of mapping data fields, here you assign individual values of these data fields.

Create complex 1:1 mapping

1. Click into the field for the sales channel data field (you can recognise complex mappings by the fact that an input field is located below the name).
   • A list of available values from the sales channel will be displayed.
2. Select the value of the sales channel to which you want to assign a PlentyONE data field.
   • The value of the sales channel will be adopted.
3. Click next to the sales channel data field on + Add data field.
4. Click on the PlentyONE data field for which you want to assign values.
5. Proceed according to the option displayed:
   • Option 1 (values are displayed on the left): Click the plus symbol (+) next to the desired PlentyONE value and then click Confirm.
   • Option 2 (field Comparative value is displayed): Enter in the field Comparative value a value that is stored exactly as such in the assigned setting or property. Click Confirm.
   • Option 3 (dropdown list is displayed): Select a value from the dropdown list and click Confirm.

Important: By default, the value of the sales channel is transmitted during export. Only if you use a custom value mapping will the entered custom value be exported. Important: For complex mappings, do not assign custom values or properties of the type None.
