The product export to OTTO Market is done via catalogues with the special marketplace format. To create these catalogues, you use the wizard Create catalogues - OTTO Market.

What are catalogues?

Catalogues are the tool in your PlentyONE system to export data.

• Marketplace formats: Are used to export product data to sales channels (such as OTTO Market).
• Standard formats: Are used to export data from your PlentyONE system into a file.

Function of marketplace formats

With the marketplace format, the information of your product range is precisely tailored to the requirements of the sales channel.

• You assign a suitable PlentyONE data field to each data field of the sales channel.
• When exporting your variant data, the data fields of the sales channel are filled with the correct data from PlentyONE.

Creation of catalogues

• You use the wizard Create catalogues - OTTO Market to create a marketplace format for each OTTO category group.

Time savings through channel maps

You can create channel maps for OTTO Market to simplify the creation of new catalogues.

• Advantage: With channel maps, you can create cross-category assignments for a sales channel.
• Function: These assignments can then be applied to catalogues. All linked catalogues automatically inherit the assignment from the channel map, saving you time as you do not have to make the assignments again.

Important note on deleting products

Please note that a product on OTTO Market cannot be deleted either by PlentyONE or by OTTO itself.

• It is only possible to mark the product as unavailable on OTTO Market.
• Recommendation: Therefore, check very carefully before transferring products that the correct data fields have been linked in the catalogue.
