You do not need to make any separate settings for the Amazon adapter in PlentyONE, as it does not have its own menu. The functions for the adapter can be found directly in the menu Setup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data export.
Functions of the adapter
In the menu Setup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data export you will find the sections Article export - Adapter and Processing results from article export via the adapter.
Here you have the following options:
- Manual export: You can manually export article data.
- Error reports: You can download CSV files containing errors that occurred during an export.
By default, the article data is automatically exported to Amazon once daily via the adapter.
Activating the adapter for production (validation mode vs. production mode)
Until now, the adapter was only available by default in validation mode. In this mode, the article data is not transferred to the live Amazon environment but continues to be sent in parallel via flat files. This allows you to test your settings risk-free.
You can now activate the adapter for production:
- Open the menu
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data export. - Activate the checkbox
Enable article export via the adapter (without test mode).
As soon as you activate the adapter for production, your article data will be exported to the live Amazon environment via the adapter. The parallel transmission via flat files will no longer take place, provided no product catalogs have yet been created.
Note: You can activate or deactivate the checkbox
Enable article export via the adapter (without test mode)at any time to switch betweenvalidation modeandproductionmode.Important: Activate the adapter for production at the latest when Amazon disables the interface for
flat files.
