A catalogue is always required whenever you want to:

• create a new product on Amazon (respective product catalogue)

• update product data for an existing product, such as the title, description or images (respective product catalogue)

• create a new offer (offer for a new SKU) on Amazon (offer catalogue)

No catalogue is required if you only want to update prices or stock levels (inventory) for existing offers (for already known SKUs) on Amazon.
Price and stock updates are transferred separately. This requires that the necessary Amazon basic settings are set up correctly.

  • creating a new product

  • updating product data

  • creating a new offer

• ❌ No catalogue required when: 

  • only updating prices for existing SKUs
  • only updating stock levels for existing SKUs
