How do I check if my import was successful?
After you have started an import run, you should check the result in the run history to to ensure that your data was imported correctly.Viewing the run historyOpen the relevant import under Data » Import.Switch to the Status tab.Navigate to the Run history section.Check which status is displayed for the import run:Completed: The import was completed without errors.Completed with errors: Some rows could not be imported due to errors.Failed: The run could not be finished due to a critical error.Click on the small arrow at the beginning of the row to open the process notifications. If any errors occurred during the import run, then they will be displayed here.

In order to tell PlentyONE which information from your import file should be imported into which fields of your system, you need to configure a mapping set.Step-by-step instructionsNavigate to Data » Import and open your desired import.Switch to the Mapping tab.Click on Create mapping, enter a name and click Save.Click on the newly created set to open the Map fields menu.Click Add mapping and select a mapping type (e.g. Column in file).On the left, select the source column from your file, and on the right select the corresponding target field in PlentyONE.Repeat this for all required fields and finally click Save.Important: An import can only be executed if at least one mapping set is active. Make sure that you assign identifiers (e.g. the variant ID) so that the system can clearly identify data records.

If you want to transfer your item or order data into your PlentyONE system, you can do so using the guided setup in the import tool.Step-by-step instructionsIn your PlentyONE system, navigate to: Data » Import.In the overview, click on Create import.The wizard will now guide you through three steps:Step 1 (Connect file): Give the import a name, select the appropriate import type (e.g. items or orders) and the data source (e.g. CSV upload, FTP or HTTPS).Step 2 (File configuration): Check the table configuration (delimiter, header row) and use the table preview to ensure that the data is recognised correctly.Step 3 (Import options): Decide whether you want to add only new data, update existing data, or both.Finally, click on CREATE IMPORT.Note: After an import is created it cannot yet be executed.
