An eBay order initially receives the shipping profile stored in the eBay shipping profile links upon import. If the order still receives the wrong shipping profile after import (e.g. freight forwarding instead of DHL parcel), the profile is usually overwritten afterwards by automated event actions.
Cause of the incorrect assignment
During the import of the order, the correct shipping profile ID from the eBay framework conditions is initially assigned. However, active event actions take effect in the system afterwards. If these actions are configured to reassign the shipping profile based on article properties (e.g. the property freight forwarding), they overwrite the original assignment from the eBay import.
Step-by-step guide to fix the issue
You have two options to prevent the unwanted overwriting of the shipping profile:
Option 1: Adjust article properties
Navigate in your
PlentyONEsystem to:Articles » Articlesand open the affected variant.Check the values stored in the
Propertiestab.Remove or correct the property (e.g.
freight forwarding) that is responsible for overwriting the shipping profile.
Option 2: Adjust event actions
Navigate in your
PlentyONEsystem to:Setup » Orders » Events.Search for active event actions that adjust the shipping profile or reset tags.
Add filters (e.g. restriction by
order origin) in the corresponding event action so that eBay orders are excluded from this rule.
