You can create an event-driven flow in PlentyONE Flow to automatically send eBay messages (shipping confirmations) to your customers as soon as the goods issue has been posted. This method is recommended by PlentyONE.

The principle of PlentyONE Flow

With PlentyONE Flow (short: Flow) you automate workflows for your business processes. In the Automation menu you will find two functions:

• Flow Studio: Here you create and configure automated workflows. There are three types of flows depending on the trigger type: event-driven, time-driven or manual.
• Flow Tracker: Here you monitor running or completed executions of the workflows.

Create event-driven flow

Perform the following steps in the PlentyONE Flow Studio:

1. Open the menu Automation » Flow Studio.
2. Click on Create Flow (add).
   • The pop-up stepper will guide you through the following three steps:

1. General

1. Enter a unique name and optionally a description for the new flow.
2. Click Next.

2. Trigger

1. Select Event-driven as the trigger.
2. Click Next.

3. Settings

1. Optionally select a UI from the dropdown list Flow available in.
   • Note: Currently only the Order UI is selectable.
2. From the dropdown list Event selection, choose the event Order > Goods issue posted.
   • Important: If the triggering event requires further settings, these are mandatory.
3. Save the settings.
   • The flow will be created and the Flow Studio Canvas will appear.

Configure flow

Next, configure the further steps in the canvas:

1. Add a control element of type branch.
   • Select object type Order.
   • Set a filter setting for the branch to consider only eBay orders:
     • Filter: Order > Origin
     • Operator: Is in (IN)

     • Input field: Select the order origins for the eBay sales channels for which you want to use this flow.

       Note: If there is more than one filter, choose AND as the relationship between the conditions.

2. Add the action Multichannel > eBay and within it the option Send eBay message.
   • Select the desired template from the dropdown list eBay message.
3. Save the settings.
