You can create an event-driven flow in PlentyONE Flow to automatically leave positive reviews for your buyers on eBay. This method is recommended by PlentyONE.
The principle of PlentyONE Flow
PlentyONE Flow (short: Flow) is used to automate workflows in your business processes. In the Automation menu, you will find two functions:
- Flow Studio: Here you create and configure automated workflows. There are three types of flows depending on the trigger type: event-driven, time-driven or manual.
- Flow Tracker: Here you monitor ongoing or completed executions of workflows.
The central element of both functions is the Canvas, a graphical interface on which workflows are visually represented with actions and controls. In the Flow Studio, this is editable.
Create an event-driven flow
Perform the following steps in PlentyONE Flow Studio to set up automatic review submission:
- Open the menu Automation » Flow Studio.
- Click on Create Flow (
add).- The stepper that appears will guide you through the following three steps.
1. General
- Enter a unique name and optionally a description for the new flow.
- Click Next.
2. Trigger
- Select Event-driven as the trigger.
- Click Next.
3. Settings
- Optionally select a UI from the dropdown list Flow available in.
- Note: Currently, only the Order UI is selectable.
- Info: The option to trigger the flow manually will be added to the group functions in this UI.
- From the dropdown list Event selection, select the event Order > Goods issue posted.
- Important: If the triggering event requires further settings, these are mandatory.
- Save the settings.
- The flow will be created and the Flow Studio Canvas will appear. It already shows the trigger type and a placeholder for the next step.
- Note: For some event-driven flows, you can only save the flow after adding at least one more step.
Configure flow
After creating the flow, configure the following steps:
- Add a control of type branch.
- Select Order as the object type.
- Set a filter setting for the branch to only consider eBay orders:
- Filter: Order > Origin
- Operator: Is in (IN)
- Input field: Select the order origins for the eBay sales channels you want to use this flow for.
- Note: If you need more than one filter, add the additional filters as condition (
playlist_add) and select AND as the relationship between the conditions.
- Add the action Multichannel > eBay and within it the option Leave review for eBay.
- Save the settings.
- Important: The statuses, controls, and filters mentioned in the instructions are only examples. Choose the settings that best suit your workflow.
