  • Why do the total amounts in my orders differ from the VAT calculation?

    If customers complain about discrepancies in the gross total amounts or incorrectly stated VAT amounts, this is usually due to the calculation method selected for order amounts. If your system is set up to round at the item level to just two decimal places, these rounding differences can add up to noticeable discrepancies with high item quantities.How to correct the calculation methodTo minimise rounding errors and obtain tax-compliant total amounts, the OMS team recommends using four decimal places, with rounding only occurring at the total price.Adjusting settings in PlentyONENavigate to Setup » Client » Select Standard Shop » Locations » Select location » Accounting.Find the setting for the calculation method of order amounts.Select the option Four decimals, round totals only.Save the settings.Note: Please note that this change only applies to new orders. Existing orders with incorrect totals will not be corrected automatically. To apply the new calculation to an affected case, the order must be created again from scratch.

  • I can no longer see certain payment methods in the order and order creation. How and where can I add them?

    Since the transition to plugin payment methods (EOL non-plugin payment methods) in June 2021 and the switch to the new order UI, only plugin payment methods can be used.Basically, only the plugin (e.g. Purchase on account) needs to be installed at least in the main client and the assistant needs to be completed.

     If an order contains items with different, separately stored shipping profiles but is not split into separate delivery orders, this is usually due to a central setting in your PlentyONE system that allows the combination of shipping profiles within the order.Adjust order splitting settingsTo enable the automatic splitting of orders with different shipping profiles, you need to adjust the shipping calculation setting:Navigate in your PlentyONE system to: Setup » Orders » Shipping » Calculation.There you will find a setting that controls the combination of shipping profiles.Activate the option “Use combinations of two shipping profiles.”IMPORTANT: Activating this setting prevents the system from automatically transferring the shipping profile of the first item to other items with a different profile in the same order.
