If customers complain about discrepancies in the gross total amounts or incorrectly stated VAT amounts, this is usually due to the calculation method selected for order amounts. If your system is set up to round at the item level to just two decimal places, these rounding differences can add up to noticeable discrepancies with high item quantities.
How to correct the calculation method
To minimise rounding errors and obtain tax-compliant total amounts, the OMS team recommends using four decimal places, with rounding only occurring at the total price.

Note: Please note that this change only applies to new orders. Existing orders with incorrect totals will not be corrected automatically. To apply the new calculation to an affected case, the order must be created again from scratch.
