You can use the webhook-based order import to import orders generated in Shopify directly into your PlentyONE system immediately after they are placed.
Please note that this feature is only available for customers with a PlentyONE Plan.
Step 1: Copy URL in PlentyONE
To create the webhook in Shopify, you first need a specific URL from your system.
Open the menu Setup » Assistants » Omni-Channel.
Open the assistant Shopify configuration.
Go to the step Order management.
Activate the toggle at Would you like to use the webhook-based order import?.
Copy the displayed URL in the section Webhook-based order import.
Step 2: Create webhook in Shopify
Using the copied URL, you now configure the interface in your Shopify backend.
Log in to your Shopify admin area.
Navigate to Settings » Notifications » Webhooks.
Click Create webhook.
Select as Event the option Order creation.
Select as Format the type JSON.
Paste the URL previously copied from PlentyONE under URL.
Choose the option (Latest) for Webhook API version.
Click on Save.
Copy the Signature key which is now displayed under Your webhooks are signed with [signature key].
Step 3: Enter signature key in PlentyONE
Finally, you need to authorise the connection in PlentyONE.
Return to your PlentyONE system to the Shopify configuration assistant (step Order management).
Enter the signature key copied from Shopify in the section Webhook-based order import.
Continue the setup in the assistant to save the configuration.
