If you make changes to static data such as shipping groups (merchant_shipping_group) in your Amazon offer catalogue, these will not be automatically transferred to existing offers on Amazon simply by saving or setting a new timestamp.
Once an offer exists on Amazon, an offer create is no longer sent, but an offer update. This update process for existing SKUs is primarily triggered by price changes. To ensure that the changed data fields from the offer catalogue are reliably transmitted to Amazon, a price change must be made to the item.
How to trigger the update
To force the transmission of your adjusted shipping groups or other data fields in the offer catalogue, proceed as follows:
Make the desired changes in the offer catalogue or to the linked properties of the variants.
Temporarily change the price of the affected variants (a minor change is sufficient) to trigger the
offer updatecall.Check in the menu
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Feedswhether the update has been processed.
Check the status of the transmission
You can check the success of the transmission in the feed interface:
Navigate to
Setup » Markets » Amazon » Feeds.Set the filter
Feed-TyptoFeed for offers.In the
Process typefilter, select the optionUpdate of offer catalogues.Download the
Feed requestand theFeed Submission Result.Check in the document whether the number for
