As part of the transition to the new Amazon catalogue technology, the Amazon product types have been renamed and some attributes made mandatory. You will find two lists here to help you with the transition.
Overview of mandatory attributes
You can download here a list of the mandatory attributes for Amazon, showing which attributes are required for each product type.
Structure of the table
The table "Mandatory Attributes for Amazon" is structured as follows:
| Column | Explanation |
|---|---|
Product Type |
The Amazon product type, e.g. ABDOMINAL_EXERCISER, ABIS_BOOK or ACCESSORY. |
MP |
The Amazon Marketplace code indicating the Amazon country platform (e.g. DE for amazon.de). |
Attribute Name |
The technical name of the attribute at Amazon. |
Attribute Label |
A user-friendly label for better understanding of the attribute. |
Tip: You can filter the table by platform (
MP) to display only the attributes that are mandatory for the Amazon platforms you use.
Overview of old and new product types
With the switch to catalogues, the new Amazon product types will also be available in PlentyONE.
- The old product types will be automatically migrated into the new product types.
- An overview of which old product types are assigned to the corresponding new ones can be found in the "List of old and new Amazon product types".
Using new product types when importing items
If you import items into PlentyONE using the import tool via a CSV file, please note the following:
- You must add a column for the new Amazon product types in the import file.
- Run the item import again after adding this column.
- This ensures that your items are correctly linked with the new Amazon product types.
