The inventory automation in PlentyONE only works with listings of duration endless (GTC) and requires a one-time preparation.

Before activating the automation

The automation works with the data in Active Listings. Before activation, you must manually delete old, unnecessary entries to avoid errors.

Recommended procedure for cleaning up:

1. Open the menu: Active Listings.

2. Use the following combined search filters to see the listings affected by the automation:

   • Duration: endless (GTC)

   • Relisted: no

   • WB dependency: restricted (without reservation)

3. Delete the unnecessary, old entries.

Important: If you change the duration of your listings from a specific term to endless (GTC), you must perform the cleanup under Active Listings again afterwards.

Functionality and fees

• Duration: The automation only applies to listings with duration: endless (GTC).

• Ranking: The older function Endless lister creates new listings, whereby the search ranking is lost. The inventory automation maintains the ranking as it updates active GTC listings.

• Fees: No fees are charged when updating the inventory. However, for GTC duration, fees for additional options upon automatic renewal by eBay still apply.

Excluding listings from the automation

To exclude an endless listing (GTC) from the inventory automation:

1. Deactivate the option Endless lister in the Base tab of the market listing.
