You can list your items directly on international eBay platforms (e.g. on ebay.com or ebay.fr) to offer them country-specifically with local currency, language, and customised parameters.
1. Make country-specific basic settings
Adjust the basic settings of the listing for the target platform.
Open the menu: Sales Channels » Edit Listings.
Open the relevant listing.
In the Base tab, select the desired platform (e.g.
France) for the marketplaceeBay.Select a warehouse if you have set up your own warehouse in the target country.
Save the settings.
→ Country-specific parameters such as shipping profiles and currency are automatically adjusted.
2. Set up description and layout
Enter the correct translated description and choose a layout for the target platform.
Open the menu: Sales Channels » Edit Listings.
Open the listing and select the Description and Layout tab.
Select the language appropriate to the platform.
Edit the description by adopting and translating it from the item, or select a layout template for the target country.
Save the settings.
3. Adjust national and international shipping conditions
Adapt the shipping conditions of the target platform to the local circumstances there.
Open the menu: Setup » Markets » eBay » Terms » Tab: Shipping Conditions.
Select the eBay account and the platform (e.g.
France).Configure the shipping method and shipping costs for shipments within this country in the National section.
Configure the shipping method and shipping costs for shipments from this country to other countries in the International section.
Save the settings.
Note: The settings for inventory synchronisation (
restricted (without reservation)) and duration (endless (GTC)) as well as the message after purchase are the same as for German listings (see separate article) and must also be checked for international listings.
