The basic settings for listings apply to all your listings and market listings. You configure these centrally in the menu Setup » Listings » Settings.

Configure basic settings

1. Open the menu: Setup » Listings » Settings.

2. Make the following settings:

   • Create new market listing: Here you specify what should happen when you try to create a second listing for the same item.

     • Show error message if a listing already exists: No new listing will be created.

     • Do not check for duplicate market listings: When creating the listing, it will not be checked whether a listing for the item already exists. This is useful if you offer the same item in different qualities (e.g. A- and B-grade).

   • Item name column for listing title: Here you select which item name (Name 1, Name 2 or Name 3) should be exported as the listing title.

3. Save the settings.

Important note on saving When you save changes in the menu Setup » Listings » Settings, other users will be automatically logged out. They must log in again for the changes made to take effect for all user profiles.

Warning: Source of error If you select a name column but no name is saved for this column in the Texts tab of the item, you will receive the error message No description found for itemId.
