The stock automation uses the Relist function of eBay to relist items.
Automatic Relisting (Relist)
- A listing can only be relisted if it has been active before and ended no more than 90 days ago.
- The stock automation calls the
Relistfunction as soon as the item is back in stock. - The old
eBay IDis transferred, buteBaycreates a new listing with a new eBay ID and links it to the old listing. - The ranking is maintained by
eBayif no other data (e.g. the price) has changed.
Special feature of the "Out of Stock" option
If you have set the option "Use Out of Stock option" to Yes in the account settings:
- The listing is not ended when an item is out of stock.
- The item remains visible but is not purchasable.
- The sales history (sold quantities) is retained and not reset to zero when the item is back in stock.
- Even if the setting End listings automatically is active in the menu
Setup » Listings » Stock, listings are not ended but only made non-purchasable.
