With Variation Themes, you can display multiple product variants (e.g. different sizes or colours) on a shared Amazon product detail page. The assignment is done via the data field group variation_theme.

Assign a single variation theme

1. Open the menu: Data » Catalogues.
2. Open the product catalogue for Amazon.
3. Scroll to the data field group variation_theme.
4. Select the appropriate variation theme from the dropdown list for the data field Variation theme designation under Export as (e.g. COLOUR_NAME).
   • Note: The designation in the field Export as may differ after selection, as the dropdown list often provides a translated guide.
5. Click on add Add data source.
6. Select the appropriate attribute with the addition is linked (e.g. Attribute » Colour » Attribute Colour is linked).
   • Note: This ensures that the variation theme is only transmitted if the corresponding attribute is actually linked to your variant.
7. Save your settings.

Assign combination of variation themes

You can also select a combination of variation themes (e.g. COLOUR_NAME/SIZE_NAME).

1. Perform steps 1 to 4 of the single assignment and select the appropriate combination (recognisable by the slash /) from the dropdown list.
2. Click on add Add data source.
3. Select the appropriate attribute with the addition is linked for the first variation theme (e.g. Attribute » Colour » Attribute Colour is linked for COLOUR_NAME).
4. Click on link Add data source.
5. Select the appropriate attribute with the addition is linked for the second variation theme (e.g. Attribute » Size » Attribute Size is linked for SIZE_NAME).
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all further variation themes of the combination.
7. Save your settings.

Important when exporting combinations

• The combination of variation themes is only transmitted if all attributes (e.g. colour AND size) are linked to the variant.
• Do not add the second and all subsequent attributes via add Add fallback data source.
• Attention: You must also link the appropriate data fields for the variation theme separately in the product catalogue (e.g. the data fields for COLOUR and SIZE) so that the actual values are transmitted to Amazon.
