Catalogue exports mostly fail because of individual mappings, filters, or because the old export of the same marketplace is still running in parallel. The live preview quickly shows where the problem lies.
How to recognise the problem
- The export is empty, or individual items do not arrive at the marketplace.
- The catalogue preview shows an error.
How to proceed
- Set a variation ID as a filter in the catalogue and use the live preview to check which values would be exported and whether an error appears.
- Amazon: Map the data field
unit_countdirectly in the catalogue instead of inheriting it via the channel map. You can find feedback from Amazon underSetup » Markets » Amazon » Data exchange » Data exportin the section for catalogue export reports. - Images: The mapping
All imagesonly works with a specified position. Otherwise, use the image list. - Check the catalogue filters, for example a forgotten filter on a single item ID or a filter that excludes variations with stock 0.
- Once you have switched all items to catalogues, deactivate the old stock or item synchronisation of the same marketplace, for example for Kaufland under
Setup » Markets » Kaufland » Settings. Products that were already transferred via the old export only receive updates via the catalogue. - Then update the timestamp for marketplace exports and start the export manually if necessary.
If this doesn’t help
Contact support and provide the catalogue, variation ID and the error message from the preview.
