With the formula function, you can automatically adjust and recalculate numerical values of PlentyONE data fields during export. The basic arithmetic operations are available for the formulas.

Requirements and basic principle

• Data field type: This function only works with data fields that contain numerical values.
• Principle: You specify that the numerical value of a PlentyONE data field is recalculated during export based on the formula you entered. The calculation is performed during the next export.

Step-by-step guide to creating a formula assignment

1. Click on the Assignment tab next to the sales channel data field on + Add data field.
   • On the left, the list of available PlentyONE data fields appears as groups.
2. Click at the very top next to Formula (calculate) on the plus symbol.
   • The data field Formula is inserted into the field on the right.
3. Click into the Formula data field.
   • The Change value window is displayed.
4. Create formula: Enter numbers and mathematical operators either using the displayed calculator or via the keyboard.
5. Add PlentyONE data field: Select a PlentyONE data field (add) at the bottom right to include its value in the calculation.
   • Tip: Use the search to find data fields faster.
6. Make optional assignments: If the symbol more_vert is displayed in the data field, click it to select the correct assignment for the data field (for example, if multiple assignments are necessary, indicated by a number next to the symbol). In the displayed window, select the desired assignments from the dropdown lists and Save the settings.
7. Save the formula settings.
   • The inserted formula is displayed in the view.
