  • How do I link images to variants?

    In PlentyONE, you have various options for linking images to your variants. This can be done either manually via the user interface or automatically via an import.Linking via the item UIYou can link images directly in the edit view of a variant. Alternatively, you can use the group function in the variant overview to link several variants to specific images at the same time.Linking via importFor a large number of variants, it is recommended to use the import tool. To do this, create a CSV file that must contain at least the following mappings:Variant ID: Used as a matching field to identify the correct variant.Item images / Image ID: Here you enter the ID of the image to be linked.Item images / Link with variant: This command carries out the actual linking during the import.You can obtain the required image IDs in advance via an export from your system.

    In order for you to see and use the field for marketplace attribute linking with your images, two essential requirements must be met in your PlentyONE system.Requirements for displaying the selection fieldTo enable the linking, please check the following settings:Activate image linking in the attribute: Navigate to Einrichtung » Artikel » Attribute. Open the that the option for image linking is activated there.Linking the image to a variant: The relevant image must already be linked to at least one variant of the item.As soon as these two conditions are met, the selection field will automatically appear in the image view, and you can carry out the desired marketplace attribute linking.
