You manage the return address for OTTO Market in the OTTO Market back end (OPC), not in PlentyONE. After a move, only the new address may be saved there. With two return addresses or return carriers, the shipping notification can fail.
How to recognise the problem
- Returns still arrive at the old location.
- The new address from PlentyONE is not transferred to OTTO.
- The shipping notification fails with
RETURN_ADDRESS_CARRIER_ID_IS_MANDATORYif both the old and the new address are saved in the OPC.
How to proceed
- Create the new return address in the OTTO Market back end (OPC).
- Mark the new return address as the main address.
- Delete the carrier of the old return address.
- Delete the old return address completely.
- Run the shipping notification again for any open orders affected by this.
Good to know: If there are several return warehouse locations or return carriers, OTTO requires a function that PlentyONE does not currently support. This is why the old address must be removed completely.
If this doesn’t help
Contact support and provide an example order ID and the message from the log.
